Wow.

As some of you have seen already, Horror writer Stephen King said that Stephenie Meyer “can’t write worth a darn” in a recent interview with USA Weekend.

Ouch.

King compared Meyers to Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling and said that they are both speaking to young people, but that Rowling is a terrific writer and Meyers is not.

King went on to say that he understands the appeal of the Twilight books to young women; that they are fast-paced and exciting without being overtly sexual.

And really … what’s so bad about that?
